Good evening, Stylists!
It’s Tuesday, and you know what that means—it’s time for another edition of Tips & Tricks Tuesday.
Today’s theme is: If you’re having a tough time, try going back to basics.
As with anything in life, we sometimes make things more complicated than they need to be, right? I do it all the time. I look at my to-do list, and I see everything on that paper staring back at me, and I wonder how I’m ever going to get it all done. It’s overwhelming. And stressful.
And completely unnecessary.
Remember that saying “keep it simple?” Let’s apply that to being a stylist.
As you know, CC Originals has a wide variety of apparel—with new items released every week! And it’s more than t-shirts. It’s accessories, jewelry, sweatshirts, hats. It’s everything. And of course they’re all adorable, and we want to sell them all, but we never want you to feel overwhelmed as a Stylist.
If you’re stressing right now, keep this in mind: You don’t have to sell everything all at once, this kind of thing takes time.
So for now, keep it simple.
I know it’s getting chilly out for a lot of us, and our natural instinct is telling us to push the warm, cozy products. It’s almost winter, so people should want the hats and gloves and scarves and long sleeve apparel. That makes sense, right?
You’re not wrong! But we’re going to let you in on a little secret.
No matter the season, our best seller is almost always the item that got us started: the boyfriend tees.
The beauty about the boyfriend tees is that there are SO many designs, there is literally something for every single person you know. And who doesn’t love t-shirts?
Everyone wears them.
Everyone wants them.
They are a perfect gift that can be given to literally anyone!
So if you’re having a difficult time selling the cozy stuff or feeling like that is what you need to be doing right now, we’re here to remind you that it’s OK to go back to basics. We encourage it! The boyfriend tee is our best seller for a reason, and there is no shame in pushing the product with the most success.
And don’t worry—we have total faith in our winter apparel, too.
Some people just aren’t cold enough yet! 😉
The bottom line is, if you’re feeling like you’re in a rut, try pushing the boyfriend tee. Share them on social, tag your friends, send messages, share links. Feel free to check out our previous blog about How to Sell Product. (If you’re new here, this is a great article for you!)
Be patient, stay at it, and keep it simple, Stylists.
See you next week!
